The DEEP BLUE Countertop System Offers a Total of 4 Filtration Stages:

Stage 1: 100 micron bonded poly fiber, eliminates dirt, sediment, rust and other particles the size of a human hair.

Stage 2: 1.5 lbs. of KDF™ (copper / zinc) removes chlorine, reduces lead and other heavy metals. Also reduces scale build-up and helps keep unit bacteriostatic.

Stage 3: Granular Activated Carbon further reduces chlorine, THMs (trihalomethanes), VOC’s (volatile organic chemicals), undesirable tastes and odors.

Stage 4: 50 micron spun-bonded polypropylene, filters undesirable remaining particles.
